THEY may have made a fortune from their silver screen careers but these two aren’t spending much of their moolah on soap.
In fact, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have a dirty little secret: they shower very rarely and that goes for their two young kids too.
They came clean about this on a recent edition of Armchair Expert, a podcast hosted by actors Dax Shepard and Monica Padman.
The conversation turned to how frequently they shower – as these things do.
Monica (33) said she stepped into the shower every day but Dax shot her down. “You shouldn’t be getting rid of the natural oil on your skin with a bar of soap every day,” he declared.
Ashton (43) and Mila (37) agreed. “I wash my armpits and my crotch daily and nothing else ever,” The Two and a Half Men star said, although he did add he splashes his face with water after a workout.
Mila follows pretty much the same routine but also cleans her face twice a day.
For the Bad Moms actress it began as a result of circumstances. “I didn’t have hot water growing up as a child,” recalled Mila, who was raised in a humble home in the Ukraine. “So I didn’t shower very much anyway.”
That habit continued when she became mother to Wyatt (6) and Dimitri (4). “I also don’t wash them every day. I wasn’t the parent that bathed my newborns – ever.”
Ashton added there was “no point” bathing children unless they are visibly grubby – and the internet was appalled by the couple’s dirty-laundry baring session.
“I was today years old CHECK when I found out Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are flat-out gross,” one Twitter user said.
