‘It makes Rose realise how much she wanted a baby,’ says Grantchester’s Fiona Button, who plays her. ‘Losing the baby also makes her feel really inadequate. She thinks: “I’m not the lawyer or high-achiever like Hannah or Nina – and I can’t even do this!”
