In 2002, Jeff Jarrett founded Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling and after being with the company for nearly 11 years left in 2013.

Having moved on from TNA, with the company struggling in the years after, Jarrett went on to found Global Force Wrestling, touring the company and trying to find a TV deal for its product. However, with TNA under the new ownership of Anthem Sports & Entertainment, Jarrett shockingly recently returned to the company he founded earlier this year. With the company now rebranded as Impact Wrestling, Adam Lewis sat down with Jarrett in London, as he was in the midst of discussions to bring the company back to UK TV.

Total Wrestling: You have recently returned to Impact Wrestling, what is it like being back & how did it come about?

Cody: If you were to ask me on Christmas Day if I was going to be in London talking to you about Impact Wrestling I’d have called you completely insane. It’s been fun and interesting, I came back home, had a few discussions with Anthem but nothing to get into a deep discussion. Lawyers got involved and one thing led to another and I was in Orlando ready to start to consult with Impact Wrestling. It was that quick, consulted with Impact on the last set of TV tapings [in January] and over the next month, the relationship has turned from a short term agreement into a long term deal. It’s a unique situation, the company has definitely changed since I was last there. In the UK, there’s a lot of things to be done. Meetings with broadcasters, digital space, production companies, live event touring and sorting merchandising.

You mentioned being over in the UK, the company recently stopped its yearly UK tour recently, so are tours being planned right now for the future?
