There have been 101 marriages in Weatherfield, and l and Imran make it 102. But hopes for a fresh start with the solicitor and his surprise son Alfie - the product of his one-night stand with Abi Imran considers plunging to a new low in his quest to get custody of his child.

TV Times caught up with star Georgia Taylor, 42 - who this year celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Battersbys' arrival - to talk about the drama ahead, and her hopes for her Corrie alter ego...

Do you think this wedding would be happening if it weren't for Toyah's dreams of having a child?

Probably not, or it would happen further down the line when she and Imran had had more time to rebuild their relationship. I think Alfie is a huge factor in Toyah going ahead with it, and trying to put her misgivings about Imran to one side.

Is Imran capitalising on Toyah's infertility?

Charlie (de Melo, who plays Imrand and I have talked about this. Toyah is arguably the most sensitive of the Battersby family, but she still has that fire in her and I was concerned about playing someone who was getting walked over.

But what has helped is that he has played Imran's scenes with Toyah with such warmth. Imran really does love Toyah. He's made a mistake, he hasn't handled it well and he genuinely regrets it. So no, I don't think he is using her.

Imran considers framing Abi for drug use this week. If he does this and Toyah finds out, would it be a line in the sand?

Potentially it could be, yes. How much can you forgive when it's betrayal after betrayal? Were that to come out, it could be quite explosive!

You've had some heartwrenching scenes lately. Are the tears easy to produce?
