Lonely Max leaves Walford this week, but not before he’s tried to blackmail Phil as part of a drastic plan to win back Linda. Has he got no pride? As the kids would say, ‘Take the L.’

Linda’s made it clear that she deeply regrets her fling with the former car salesman, but Max just isn’t listening. He has an idea to impress her and reckons if all goes well, the lovely Mrs. C will be his forever – or at least until he gets bored and moves on to some strumpet half her age.
