THE SPLIT NEW MONDAY, 9 PM, BBC1 DRAMA (BOX SET, BBC iPLAYER)
Ever since The Split burst onto our screens in 2018, we've followed caring divorce lawyer Hannah Stern as she has guided clients through a range of challenging break-ups, while also dealing with the heart-rending fallout from her own complex personal life.
Now, as the super-glossy legal drama returns to BBC1 for a third and final series, Hannah (played by Nicola Walker) is facing her toughest case yet her own divorce from husband and fellow lawyer Nathan (Stephen Mangan) after they both had affairs.
Events are set to become traumatic for Hannah and Nathan and their troubled extended family over the coming weeks.
But, thankfully, when TV Times joins Nicola, 51, and Stephen, 53, for an exclusive video interview, the chatty stars - who became friends at the University of Cambridge are full of banter as they tell us about the fireworks ahead in the new six-parter...
What can we expect from the final series?
NICOLA I don't think it's going to go where you might imagine it will... It's beautifully complicated and (creator and writer) Abi Morgan doesn't shy away from how messy this will get.
Nathan goes through the wringer. But they both get into trouble. Sometimes they both behave beautifully and, at other times, you want to kick both of them out the door! You'll shout at all of us - it's not easy to pick who to bless and who to blame.
