The extent of Tracy’s struggles with motherhood becomes clear this week as she leaves the village, believing her family is better off without her.

Since Frankie’s birth, teary Trace has been overwhelmed and lost confidence in her ability to be a good mum. Partner Nate has tried his best to understand, but she’s largely kept her insecurities to herself and desperately tried to maintain a brave face – while secretly falling apart.

This week, Frankie’s granny Faith suspects Ms. Metcalfe is heading for a breakdown when she notices her acting strangely at the village bus stop…
