Imagine a cross between Alien, The Thing and Contagion set on a fishing trawler and you’ll have something approaching a handhold on this elusively suggestive horror thriller from Irish writer-director Neasa Hardiman. An unexpectedly timely movie, too, with themes of infection and confinement that can’t help but touch a raw nerve with viewers living in the time of Coronavirus.
