Bill Pullman is back as detective Harry Ambrose this week as gritty crime anthology The Sinner returns to Netflix with a brand-new case.
Following season one’s shockingly lethal stabbing and season two’s creepy cult poisoning, the new series finds Harry called out to the scene of a fatal car crash involving two college friends in upstate New York.
It seems like a straightforward case, but Harry believes there’s more to the incident than meets the eye and calls in a forensics team in order to discover what happened between Jamie (Matt Bomer), a happily married teacher with a child on the way, and Nick (Chris Messina), his estranged friend who died in the crash.
