The first season of STARZPLAY’s Godfather of Harlem charted the true story of crime boss Bumpy Johnson, played by Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker, as he attempted to take back the streets of 1960s Harlem from the Italian Mafia.
By the end of the season, the size of the task ahead of him had become apparent as Bumpy found himself targeted by the Mob for the killing of a ‘made man’ – and as season two arrives, Bumpy is planning how to make his return.
