The dangers of artificial intelligence are at the heart of Star on Disney+’s new tense and twisty 10-part series Next, starring John Slattery.
The Mad Men actor plays Silicon Valley pioneer Paul LeBlanc, who we first meet giving a lecture to students about the impending perils of tech innovation.
LeBlanc helped write a code called Next for the tech company Zava, which he set up with his brother Ted (Jason Butler Harner). However, Ted fired Paul when he started ringing alarm bells about the AI they were developing.
