STORY SO FAR Summer Spellman is one very troubled teenager – and no wonder! Her adoptive dad, Drew Spellman, died and she had to fight off her wicked witch of a grandmother so she could be raised by her godfather, vicar Billy Mayhew, and his partner, Todd Grimshaw.
Then Billy confessed he was responsible for Susan Barlow’s death in 2001 and Susan’s brother, Peter, nearly killed him.
Scared they’d lose custody of Summer, Todd did a runner with her. Then Summer returned, without Todd.
Oh, and Billy got hooked on heroin!
