Liv and her friends stumble into their final adventures as iZombie’s last season begins
By the time Liv Moore (Rose McIver) chomps her last brain in the iZombie series finale later this summer, she’ll have experienced almost 70 lives vicariously, and saved a whole mess of people (and zombies) along the way. Those are pretty great stats for a good-hearted zombie, and a television series run in general, but executive producer/co-showrunner Diane Ruggiero-Wright still isn’t ready to say goodbye to the little zombie-show-that-could.
“I was so much cooler about it during the actual breaking of the episodes,” RuggieroWright tells Red Alert. “But then I was like, ‘Wait a second! Is this definite? Is there some wiggle room?’” Sadly, yes, it’s a done deal, as Liv gets to wrap up all the New Seattle drama, explore her now public persona as Renegade, and figure out if a zombie cure is in her future.
