After a painful separation this spring, Adele decided it was a summer for new adventures— and she brought along the perfect sidekick. “Her son had time off from school, so they vacationed in Utah, took a boating tour on Lake Powell and hiked the slot canyons,” a source says of how the superstar singer and her 6-year-old son, Angelo, capped off the summer together. It’s often just the two of them these days, and they’re making the most of it. Says a source: “She just seems happy being a mom and working.” Amid the upheaval in her personal life, the queen of heartbreak songs is in a good place—and embracing evolution. “No matter how long we’re here for, life is constant and complicated at times,” she wrote on Instagram on May 5 in a rare flash of vulnerability as she marked her 31st birthday. “I’ve changed drastically in the last couple years, and I’m still changing and that’s okay.”
