Driver Says He Hit Her Limo Moment Before Fatal Crash

Diana's Death Tunnel Killer Finally Found!

A TERRIFIED taxi driver has finally broken his 22-year silence to confess the chilling truth about Princess Diana’s grim death in a Paris tunnel — and The National ENQUIRER has the explosive world exclusive exposing a shocking coverup at the highest levels of the British and French governments!

Despite intense pressure from Britain’s legendary Scotland Yard to come clean, Le Van Thanh only dished to investigative journalist Colin McLaren — an acclaimed former police detective — and revealed he clipped Diana’s speeding Mercedes just a heartbeat before the limo slammed into a concrete pillar in Paris’ Pont de l’Alma tunnel on Aug. 31, 1997.

McLaren, who tracked down the 43-year-old Parisian for a documentary on the fatal crash, told The ENQUIRER Van Thanh admitted to driving the mysterious white Fiat Uno blamed for killing the 36-yearold People’s Princess, her lover, Dodi Fayed, 42, and limo driver Henri Paul, 41.

“He told me, ‘I was driving the Uno and Diana’s car smashed into me,’ ” McLaren said.

“It was a cover-up … [for the] protection of a French national. The police had worked it out but just didn’t want to give this information to the public. They didn’t want to be seen or known forever that one of their own, a French person, caused the death of Lady Diana.

“They kept it off their official report so it never existed in the public record.”

But Van Thanh, who lived under the radar in the years after the nightmare, was reluctant to say more.

“He told me, ‘I don’t want to say exactly what happened. It would cause too many complications. The police have been involved and so have many other powerful people,’” according to McLaren.
