Stretch Your Legs Around - Little Walden
Essex Life|April 2017

Why not enjoy a delightful spring time stroll around some beautiful countryside surrounding Little Walden, tucked away in the northwest corner of the county?

Stretch Your Legs Around - Little Walden

THE WALK

1 From the pub, turn right along the main road. Soon after, opposite the red brick farm building, turn left onto a bridleway along a wide track past a lake. At the path junction, proceed straight ahead, going uphill along a wide track – there are good views around as you ascend. Ignore the footpath on the left but turn left at the next junction, as you start to descend, keeping the hedge to your left, along a wide green path. When you reach the junction with the byway, turn right. Continue between hedges, soon going up a shady path. Just as you reach Butlers Farm, turn left before the first building along a footpath.
