BY the time you read this, I’ll be there. Yep, the big 4 – 0! I’ve been mentally preparing for this for the past year, or maybe even the past decade. When I was 30, I had a party. I also got engaged and a lot sure has happened in the past 10 years! But for the past year, since turning 39, I have been telling myself I am 40. I know you shouldn’t wish your life away, that’s what my mother always told me, but it was my way of gearing up to it. So, when the day came, I’d be ready. Ready to embrace the significant birthday.
