Margot’s gone ‘quakers’ over her new arrivals for spring
OH, dear Reader, excitement reached epic proportions at the farmhouse yesterday. The earth literally moved when a digger turned up at the front gate. I know what you are thinking. How can Margot possibly be so enthusiastic about the arrival of a digger after months of renovation work? I realise that the last thing anyone would expect, is me getting all hot under the collar about heavy machinery bearing down the driveway. However, the truth is I am tickled pink about having a digger on site and getting started on a particular labour of love in the farmhouse garden. In fact, I’ve been looking forward to this moment ever since we moved in. The time has finally come to embark on our next smallholding mission, dear Reader. Operation Pond.
