That said, it’s still an open-world Ubisoft game, which means, well, not quite what it used to. You can choose before you start playing whether to keep the constant nag of map icons trying to drag you off to find a stash of silver coins or a strange character to do a job for, or whether to explore the lands yourself, stumbling upon side quests in a more natural way. Even if you choose the former, the icons often fade away as you get really close to your target, forcing you to explore to find what you’re looking for. Origins’ and Odyssey’s character levelling is gone, meaning NPCs don’t wander around with a number floating over their heads. Your Power level is what defines you now, determined as much by your weapons and armor as the skill points you’ve spent. Enemies whose Power is far above yours are marked with a red skull, so you know not to start a fight you can’t win.
There’s still a way to proceed other than running away and grinding until you’re more powerful, and it often takes the form of sneaking around and scoring headshots with a bow. You can still stealth-attack from the bushes, and an unlockable skill turns assassinations of characters you wouldn’t usually be able to kill into a QTE.

This cannot go on.It will not go on
IT'S NOT EVEN NEWS to point out that PC graphics card pricing is ridiculous. And yet to merely complain about over-priced graphics boards fails to capture the disconnected, unhinged state of the GPU market. The way AMD and Nvidia priced their new cards makes no sense. It cannot go on.
Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti Incoming
WHEN NVIDIA OFFICIALLY announced its Ada Lovelace architecture, it revealed plans for three graphics cards: RTX 4090 as the king of the hill at $1,599; RTX 4080 16GB as the step-down prince for $1,199; and the RTX 4080 12GB at $899. To say people weren’t pleased with the pricing and specs would be an understatement. Nvidia “unlaunched” the 4080 12GB, stating that “having two GPUs with the 4080 designation is confusing.”

Assassin's Creed Valhalla (for PC): Another Winner
The Assassin’s Creed series has taken us to numerous historical settings since its 2007 debut, including Ancient Greece, Renaissance Italy, and Revolutionary War-era America. The newest installment, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, details the Viking invasion of 9th Century England from the perspective of history’s most notorious raiders. Though Valhalla doesn’t introduce anything wholly new to the series, it’s an excellent PC game that follows in the footsteps of its equally exceptional predecessors, Origins and Odyssey.
