“Velvet Underground star is haunting my shed”
WOOOOOO! REED

MOST OF US think nothing of going to our garden shed, whether it's to get the lawn mower, to store some tins of paint, or sit · and read a few magazines away from the wife. But for Tipton man Jeremy Binlid, every visit is a 'walk on the wild side' because his 6 by 8 foot wooden outbuilding is haunted... by the ghost of Lou Reed.

The legendary Velvet Underground front• man's phantom took up residence in Binlid's shed last summer, and is now a regular spectral presence amongst the gardening tools.

But the 45-year-old bus driver says he has no intention of trying to evict the late proto-punk rock artist from his shed. "Live and let live is what I say," he told The Tipton Globe and Artichoke. "Even if they're dead." It was Mr Binlid's 8-year old daughter Molly who first became aware of the strange presence in the garden shed.
