He had no work to do and even if he had, he was too lazy to do it.

But as days passed, the rabbit started feeling fed up with lazing around.

‘I shall start a new business and get busy,’ thought the rabbit.

Rabbit walked along the road when he met the duck. She was carrying a basket of eggs.

‘Where are you going? You do nothing all day but swim in the pond and say ‘Quack , Quack!’ said the rabbit.

‘I am going to the market to sell the eggs and get a basket of corns,’ said the duck.

‘I too want to sell something and earn money,’ said the rabbit.

‘Why don’t you lay eggs like me and sell them?’ laughed the duck as she waddled away.

The rabbit bounded off to the vegetable garden. He had a grand idea. He could steal the vegetables from the garden and sell them at the market.

Rabbit hopped over to a pumpkin farm where he found big, fat pumpkins trailing on the ground. He got the biggest pumpkin he could carry and went to the market.
