The Crocodile Hunter

Crocodile Hunter is a wildlife documentary series that was telecast on Animal Planet from 1996 to 2007. It became so popular that a feature film called The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course and television serials called Croc Files and Crocodile Hunter Diaries were made.

The documentaries were hosted by Steve Irwin and his wife Terri.

Stephen Robertson Irwin, born on the 22nd of February 1962 was an Australian zookeeper and wildlife conservationist.

He owned Australia Zoo that was founded by his parents in Beerwah, near Queensland in Australia.

Steve grew up taking care of the crocodiles and other reptiles that lived in the small Queensland Reptile and Fauna Park that his parents owned. Steve fed the animals and took care of maintaining the park so well that his father, pleased with his efforts gifted him a 12 -foot Scrub Python on his sixth birthday!
