That there is a living world beyond our earth can soon become a reality as NASA scientists have discovered not one but 219 new planets beyond our solar system. These stars are thousands of light-years away and hence are quite beyond our reach at least in near future. However, this data is quite significant in analysing how common Earth like planets are and the possibility of exploring intelligent extra-terrestrial life in them.
