मानव को लगा कि वह बहुत बदल गया है. वह 15 दिन से घर पर था और उसे लगा जैसे पूरी दुनिया ही बदल गई है.

कोरोना वायरस ने सब को बंदी बना दिया था. हालांकि बाहर न निकलना फायदेमंद रहा. सारी दुनिया आज एक नए तरह के अनुभव के का एहसास कर रही थी. मानव भी उस में से एक था.

9 साल का मानव रोज सुबह उठ जाता और मां को घर के काम करते देखता. पहले तो काम वाली आंटी आया करती थी, मगर दो हफ्ते से मां ही काम कर रही हैं. मानव ने चुपके से टेबल और कुरसी की धूल झाड़ी तथा कुछ चम्मच और गिलास देखे तो उस ने चुपके से उन्हें धो कर एक तरफ रख दिया. उस की मां ने उस की प्रशंसा की और उन्हें उस पर गर्व था.

मानव के पापा को बागबानी का बहुत शौक था और बालकनी में वे गमलों में पालक, टमाटर, धनिया, पोदीना, मिर्च, बैगन आदि के पौधे लगाते थे.

मानव जानता था कि पापा आजकल यहीं से रोजाना पालक तोड़ कर मां को दे देते और मां उस को दाल में मिला कर पकाती थीं. मानव ने सबकुछ ध्यान से देखा. वह काफी बेचैन था. उस का मासूम दिमाग यहांवहां खूब दौड़ता रहता था. उस के दिमाग में एक विचार आया और वह कूद कर बालकनी में चला गया.
