Orlando Bloom might have a reputation for being a heartthrob, but according to the woman who tamed him, he’s more than just a pretty face. “I always say that when he walks into the room, he has this joie de vivre to him,” his fiancée, Katy Perry, gushes. “Some people ask, ‘What is this guy on?’ ”

The British actor’s exuberance has been a godsend for Katy, who’s struggled with her mental health for years. Orlando, she says, has “posivibes,” while she’s more in her head “and prone to depression. So it’s good for me to be around him, because he gets me out of my head a little bit.” While she’s previously credited her strong faith and gratitude practices as being key in pulling herself out of the “sadness,” ultimately, says a source, “Orlando has saved her life.”
