THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF SUSSEX ROYAL RETURN

Despite their highly- anticipated return to British shores, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spent most of the jubilee weekend keeping a low profile and relishing in private moments with family and friends.

Their only public, official engagement was the Thanksgiving service at St Paul’s Cathedral, where they were seated far from their immediate family. In times gone by, Harry sat front and centre with William and Kate for such occasions. But this year, the sixth in line to the throne was forced to realise just how far down the royal pecking order he’s fallen since the Sussexes moved to California and went on a media blitz complaining about their life in The Firm.

Harry, 37, and a Dior-clad Meghan, 40, arrived – reportedly to the sound of boos from the watching crowd – more than 20 minutes before the Cambridges and Prince Charles. But they didn’t let the demotion or the frosty reception get them down.
