PRIYANKA'S TIME TO SHINE

If there is one thing that Priyanka Chopra has been over the past two decades, it’s busy. After taking out the Miss World title in 2000, the now 38-year-old quickly became a Bollywood sensation before taking a leap of faith – across the pond – and making a seamless transition to Hollywood star. She married Jonas Brothers singer Nick Jonas in 2018 and has spent the past few years taking turns behind the camera in an executive producer role, investing in tech and running a foundation to help educate the poor. Oh, and did we mention she’s also a long-time ambassador for UNICEF?

“I’ve always hoped to be able to use my influence in terms of philanthropy, in terms of creativity in the arts. To be able to, if I have opinions as a citizen of the world, to be able to speak about my opinions and to maybe give people perspective that they might not have seen because of my travels or because of the people that I might meet,” she explains. “And I feel like I try and do that as much as I can.”

Here, the actress chats heritage, Hollywood and why home is wherever her husband is …
