Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are among the world’s most bankable actors, reportedly with an estimated combined net worth of around $430 million. Still, after three decades in the industry, they haven’t lost their love for movies – or each other!

At the Cannes Film Festival on July 8, Damon was visibly emotional when his film Stillwater received a five-minute standing ovation. “I was a little overwhelmed,” he explained to reporters the next day. “To be in the same room with 1000 other people who are strangers but are also part of the same community because we all love the same thing – it was such a great reminder of why we do this. To be together like this!”
