She’s not normally one to share details about her private life, but Paris Jackson has given a wide-ranging interview on pal Willow Smith’s Facebook Watch show Red Table Talk. For the first time, the 23-year-old opened up about her traumatic split from former boyfriend and bandmate Gabriel Glenn last year. “It was the deepest I ever loved someone, it was the most intense I’ve felt so far and the most intense betrayal I felt so far and experienced,” she said of the pair’s break-up last August after two years of dating.

While she didn’t elaborate on the betrayal, Jackson did admit the split had made her more cautious about looking for love again. “It’s definitely closed me off to that,” she shared. “I’m very careful with who I spend time with now and very guarded and trying to protect myself.”

As the daughter of late pop star Michael Jackson, the musician has always closely guarded her personal life. However, Jackson says she’s become so paranoid about privacy that she’s started taking extreme measures to ensure nothing gets out about her. “Everyone that walks into my house signs an NDA. Like, it’s gnarly,” she confessed.
