Bringing the DRAMA!

In the two years since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle fled the UK to start a new life across the pond, they've left in their wake a trail of destruction for their Windsor relatives to deal with. And come Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebrations on June 2, the ongoing drama looks set to come to a dramatic, and very public, head.

After "careful consideration", Her Majesty banned Harry and Meghan from appearing on Buckingham Palace's balcony for the traditional Trooping the Colour RAF flypast, with a Palace spokesperson confirming the honour would only go to “members of the royal family who are currently undertaking official public duties on behalf of the Queen”.

Then, in true Sussex style, the self-exiled duo made an announcement of their own just minutes later, revealing they'll fly into the UK for the celebrations, and will bring their children Archie, 3, and Elizabeth's namesake, Lilibet, 11-months, for their first face-to-face meeting.

What's more, they're bringing their Netflix film crew with them as part of their $135 million deal, and now a special team has been tasked with nixing any plans to hijack the Queen's four-day event. Giving further insight into the drama is a new book that's shedding even more light on the feuds and fighting which left the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wanting to cause "maximum mayhem”.

When the pair traded in the palace for their $20 million celebrity pad in Montecito, they claimed they were leaving to get a bit of "space” for their young family. But rather than seek the quiet life, the Sussexes have continued to court attention by giving a series of tell-all interviews.
