The high-intensity challenges are inspired and tested relentlessly by muscle-man host and former WWE Superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (Spencer Strasmore in comedy series Ballers, 2015-2019). The Rock’s daily workout routines are posted on his Instagram social media page, so it’s not like the contestants don’t know what they’re getting into… physical tests designed to challenge speed, mental strength and stamina.
