Inspired by catastrophic and sometimes hilarious events that take place at the National Assembly – with politicians taking jabs at each other – satirical “gameshow” Point Of Order (2015now) invites a panel of local comedians to once again take aim at parliament and each other. Returning as host and Madam Speaker, Tumi Morake (Noni in this year’s romcom movie Seriously Single) ensures that two comedy teams, headed by Joey Rasdien (Rummy in 2013 comedy film Blitzpatrollie) and Celeste Ntuli (Siphokazi in telenovela Isibaya, 2013now), don’t bite or pull each other’s hair out during the deliberation. The left side is the ruling party, referred to as “government” and they propose absurd laws that citizens should follow. It’s the “opposition’s” task is to block them.
