Host Jeff Probst is the main man on reality TV grandfather show Survivor (2000-now). He’s more famous than the castaways taking part and for good reason: his reactions and interactions with the stars reveals more about them than their behaviour at camp and during challenges. “I think it’s important to give our audience a look into what makes up our contestants. That’s part of why season 35 is one of my top-5 shows,” explains the 59-year-old, who also serves as one of the executive producers. “We took the group of 18 and split them into tribes according to their personalities. They have so much life experience and they are masters of their ways. This season is going to surprise people at home, and I think that a lot of people are going to change their minds about castaways as the season progresses.”
