Oby is a witch – really. And Tshidi witnesses the horrors of her dark magic up close.

Burn the witch!

All hell is about to break loose in the Phakade household – and we’re not even joking. Witchcraft, bloody sacrifices and creepy rituals are coming our way this fortnight when GadaffiPhakade’s (Vuyo Dabula) dodgy wife Oby (Khabonina Qubeka) starts doing some really strange things in the shadows. Fortunately, Gadaffi’s ex Tshidi (Letoya Makhene) is there to witness it all.

Having never been able to let go of Gadaffiafter their emotional separation in June last year, Tshidi has always kept a close eye on him. “He is her one true love,” says Letoya, adding that they’re both still in love with each other. However, Gadaffihas made it clear that Tshidi had better keep her nose out of his marriage. Thankfully, Tshidi isn’t one to follow orders...

GET DIGGING

Suspecting there’s something off about Oby since the day she showed up in early July, Tshidi immediately started snooping around. She denies her investigation is driven by jealousy, maintaining that there’s real concern for Gadaffi’s safety. Desperate to find evidence to back her suspicions, Tshidi turns to feared Lucy (Manaka Ranaka) to do some digging via her underworld connections. “They learn that Oby was married twice before, and both her ex-husbands died of a liver condition!” reveals Letoya.

NOT LILY-LIVERED

Worried that the same fate could befall her great love, Tshidi sneaks into Gadaffiand Oby’s apartment in the hopes of finding more dirt on the supposed black widow. What she witnesses is a scene straight out of a horror movie. “Oby devours a human liver!” exclaims Letoya.
