Calling inheritances “quite distasteful,” the dad of Ella, 30, as well as a 3-year-old daughter with Rachel Weisz, added. “I don’t want to leave great sums to the next generation. My philosophy is get rid of it or give it away before you go.”

The notoriously cranky celeb chef’s five kids won’t be getting a piece of his $220 million pie — but he swears it’s for the best. “[My money] is definitely not going to them, and that’s not in a mean way,” the 54-year-old has said. “It’s to not spoil them.” And that goes for before the Hell’s Kitchen star is six feet under as well. “They get pocket money, but they have to earn that pocket money,” he’s said. “They’ve all taken care of animals, they’ve all got housework.”
