JAMIE Foxx has been waiting for the perfect moment to pop the question to Katie Holmes.
After dating on and off for more than five years, the formerly under-the-radar couple are no longer hiding their love, and the once-noncommittal actor is finally ready to tie the knot. “He’s had the ring for a while,” says an insider. “He just wanted to make sure the timing was right.”
Well, it couldn’t get any better. The pair just found out Katie is expecting their first child together. “It’s brought them closer than ever,” says an insider. Katie, 40, had turned to IVF in hopes of getting pregnant sooner rather than later. Now a thrilled Jamie, 51, “is planning to propose to Katie over a romantic candlelight dinner,” reveals the source. “And there’s no doubt Katie will say yes.”
