Jennifer Aniston knows she has that &ldquo;Sad Jen&rdquo; rep. After all, at the height of her fame, she was very publicly dumped by her movie-star husband &mdash; for the other woman. Without naming names (ahem, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie), the 52-year-old gets real about her heartbreak in a revealing new interview. &ldquo;You thought everything was in front of you and life was going to be just gorgeous,&rdquo; she tells The Hollywood Reporter of her 2005 split, which came on the heels of her star-making turn in Friends. &ldquo;And then you went through maybe the hardest time in your life.&rdquo;Ironically, she very intentionally decided not to be the victim. &ldquo;I had a choice to make,&rdquo; she says, sharing that her mother&rsquo;s willingness to suffer victimhood had given her an example of what not to be. &ldquo;Either I&rsquo;m going to surrender into bonbons and living under my covers, or I&rsquo;m going to go out there and find a creative outlet and thrive, and that&rsquo;s just what I did. It just happened to be with a movie called The Break-Up!&rdquo;Still, painted as bereft as her ex went on to be a dad to a brood of six (he and Angelina split in 2016), she admits to falling prey to gossip about what went wrong. &ldquo;I used to take it all very personally,&rdquo; she tells the mag. &ldquo;The pregnancy rumors and the who, &lsquo;Oh, she chose career over kids&rsquo; assumption...it&rsquo;s like, &lsquo;You have no idea what&rsquo;s going on with me personally, medically.&rdquo;After a second failed marriage, to Justin Theroux, the Morning Show star seems to just want to have fun, even letting slip that she prefers younger men. &ldquo;Men in their 30s, by the way, are way different from men in their 40s and 50s,&rdquo; she says. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s a whole new world that I&rsquo;m finding is alive and kicking!&rdquo;
