WITH DUCHESSES KATE AND CAMILLA AT WAR OVER WHO SHOULD FILL THE QUEEN’S SHOES, THE HOLIDAYS WERE ANYTHING BUT MERRY FOR THE ROYALS.
Christmas FROM HELL!

FOR the British royal family, Christmas Day has always been synonymous with Sandringham, Queen Elizabeth’s rural retreat in Norfolk, where the clan traditionally gathers to celebrate, thrilling villagers with their yearly stroll to morning service at St. Mary Magdalene Church. The royals, of course, had a very different holiday this time around, with the queen quarantining at Windsor Palace while Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, and Prince William and Kate Middleton were on lockdown at their separate country estates. The pandemic, however, isn’t the only thing that kept the family apart this year. Sources tell Star the continuing feud between the Duchess of Cornwall and the Duchess of Cambridge made a merry royal Christmas all but impossible, Covid-19 or no.
