<div style="page-break-before:always; page-break-after:always"><p id="1">At ChancComm, Billy, Lily and Amanda discuss how Adam has been cleared as a suspect in Chance&rsquo;s shooting because Chance verified that Newman was the intended target. Still, Billy insists that this doesn&rsquo;t mean Adam is completely innocent. &ldquo;Adam causes a lot of damage to people Billy cares about and this time it was his nephew who was hurt,&rdquo; Jason Thompson (Billy) points out. To that end, Billy wants to do some further probing into Adam&rsquo;s dealings. &ldquo;Billy may still want revenge because he doesn&rsquo;t believe Adam is a good guy and he keeps proving Billy right, over and over,&rdquo; Thompson adds. &ldquo;Billy just wants to tell people the truth and that&rsquo;s what the first article did, but if Adam continues to do things that deserve to be written about, then Billy will keep writing.&rdquo;</p><p id="2">Thompson believes that his character&rsquo;s end game is to drive Adam out of Genoa City for good. &ldquo;If Adam wasn&rsquo;t in town, Billy feels there would be a lot less trauma for everybody,&rdquo; he asserts. &ldquo;That would be the end of the story for Billy if Adam just isn&rsquo;t around anymore, but the fact that somebody would want to shoot Adam is enough for Billy to say, &lsquo;This is what Adam leaves in his wake wherever he goes and he needs to be stopped.&rsquo; &rdquo;</p><div style="page-break-before:always; page-break-after:always"><p id="3">Later, Billy is at Society when Chelsea approaches him and asks if he tried to shoot Adam. &ldquo;Billy says to her, &lsquo;What are you talking about? I would never do such a thing,&rsquo; &rdquo; says Thompson. &ldquo;He goes on to say, &lsquo;I didn&rsquo;t like him but I wouldn&rsquo;t shoot the guy. Yes, I&rsquo;ve done some questionable things in bad moments of my life but that&rsquo;s not who I am now.&rsquo; &rdquo;</p><p id="4">Next, Rey, who&rsquo;s investigating Chance&rsquo;s shooting, asks Billy if he carried his vendetta against Adam a little too far. &ldquo;Billy realizes that there could be a little heat on him and that he better start covering his bases,&rdquo; Thompson notes. &ldquo;He&rsquo;s getting worried that he might have to take this more seriously than he thought in the beginning. Billy didn&rsquo;t shoot the guy but it&rsquo;s eye-opening to him the amount of people who think he would do something like that.&rdquo;</p><div style="page-break-before:always; page-break-after:always"><p id="3">Billy returns to ChancComm and informs Lily and Amanda that he may need a lawyer. &ldquo;This isn&rsquo;t going away,&rdquo; Thompson warns. &ldquo;Things start to unravel for Billy and he definitely finds himself in hot water &mdash; and at this point, he&rsquo;s the lobster.&rdquo;</p>
