This week, DAYS marks the kickoff of an event that has never been done before in day time: a time jump.

Matthew Ashford (Jack) first became aware that something was afoot while working at the studio. “I saw interesting, strange groupings of producer people in our hallway and they were having these very intense, sudden meetings with heads of wardrobe, heads of makeup ... you don’t usually see this stuff,” he relays. “They were having very animated conversations but having them right in front of us, basically. Something was going on. Whatever was going on, it was so in the moment of the moment that there was no time to have the meetings anywhere else, they had to have them right there. It was kind of this exciting, ‘something strange is about to happen’ feeling. We didn’t know what the story would be. It wasn’t until I got a script and I looked down and went, ‘Oh, my gosh.’ I couldn’t believe it. It kind of took my breath away.”
