“What’s cool about it is that immediately, as much as he loves his daughter, I think he’s taken with the idea of having another child,” observes James Patrick Stuart (Valentin). “He is really enamored with the idea. ‘Another one! And maybe it would be a son!’ In that moment, he feels that there is an opportunity to fix a lot of mistakes that he’s made in his life. Above all, Valentin loves being a father. I think that’s what’s going on there. Right out of the gate, it’s [panic], but the next thing is, ‘Wow! Another baby! This could be incredible.’ ”
