Laura was left reeling when she learned that she shares a biological father, Gordon Gray, with not one but two other Port Charles residents, Martin Gray and Cyrus Renault.
“We had always intended to tell a story for Genie [Francis, Laura] about Laura’s past,” shares Co-Head Writer Dan O’Connor. “Originally, we had hoped it would time out for the stretch between our traditional anniversary show and the moment over the summer, when GH became officially the longest-running scripted show in America. But, you know, obviously the real world got in the way for a couple of months! And we were excited when we could start telling that story when we returned [to production] after the Covid shutdown.”
