After learning the devastating news about Liam’s tryst with Steffy — and that he may be the father of her baby — Hope seeks comfort from Thomas. “Basically, Thomas overhears [her exchange with Liam] and offers himself as an ear to Hope,” explains Annika Noelle (Hope). “He basically says, ‘I’m here to talk if you need to talk.’ They’ve gotten close recently, between Hope parenting Douglas, and everything they went through with Thomas’s brain trauma. Thomas is really respecting her marriage, and he’s just being there as a friend to support her.”
