B&B SHOCKER: STEFFY IS PREGNANT, BUT WHO'S THE DADDY?

Steffy is surprised when she discovers that she is pregnant, knowing that the father could be either Liam or Finn. “Her first reaction is, ‘Ugh, bad timing,’ ” says Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy). “But overall, she’s happy about being pregnant. This baby is special for Steffy. She loves being a mother to Kelly. She loved being a mother to baby Phoebe. She is very happy that she’s pregnant — just not so happy about the paternity aspect of it.”

Steffy summons Liam to her place and shares the life-changing news. “Liam is the most family-oriented, idealistic, somewhat-naïve and would-be happy-go-lucky guy, but in this situation, it doesn’t quite sink in that, ‘Oh, I’m going to be a dad again,’ ” previews his portrayer, Scott Clifton. “All Liam is thinking about is that this is a huge threat to his relationship with Hope, which he has worked so, so hard to protect and maintain — and often from his own mistake-making. Everybody knows that Liam is his own worst enemy and that he also, very famously, never, ever, learns from a single one of his mistakes. This is Liam’s entire life.”
