Drink, Dine & Dance

Forget white-gloved service and a glass-tinkling ambience. Southeast Asia welcomes its first “vibe dining” restaurant and bar, LAVO SINGAPORE, at the rooftop of Marina Bay Sands, where you can drink, dine and dance to your heart’s content, writes Manta Klangboonkrong

Drink, Dine & Dance

FOR MOST, a great night out on the town usually starts with a nice meal in a decent restaurant, followed by a few drinks at a cool bar before moving on to somewhere else where dance music fills the air. While it can be a lot of fun, it can be exhausting, too – factoring in issues like traffic and parking. At the newly opened Lavo Singapore at Marina Bay Sands, you can now do it all – in one place.

Perched a top the 57-storey of the renowned Sands SkyPark, Lavo Singapore offers a whole new dining concept – “vibe dining” – where a culinary experience is seamlessly fused with all the elements of clubbing. Designed by Manhattan based design firm ICrave, Lavo Singapore is a modern, glass-wrapped venue outfitted with reclaimed NYC subway tiles and exposed bricks, a massive wooden wine cabinet and antique mirrors. Channelling its 19th century Italian- American namesake restaurant, the inviting and sophisticated space is complete with a sprawling outdoor terrace with a bar and gelato cart.
