BEFORE signing to Ambitiouz Entertainment, one of the biggest labels in the country, Priddy Ugly had already garnered a huge Internet following, endorsed a few major brands and had already worked with the likes of AKA to name a few. Not all, but some of his fans, were surprised by his decision to sign to a record label, fearing that he’d lose his raw sound. We decided to chat to him about the motivation behind his decision, as well as his future plans, and he also dishes out some advice for upand-coming musicians.
Since you now have the backing of a record label, can we expect a full album from you anytime soon?
Yes, the album is coming out this year and it is titled Egypt. Everything great needs patience and time; I’ve had my whole life to prepare for this album.
