Actor Danny Miller is the first to admit that committing to this year’s show was not an easy decision. The Emmerdale star became a father for the first time a month ago when his fiancée Steph Jones gave birth to their baby boy, Albert, and he agonised over leaving his family behind.
He says that Steph, 30, has been “incredibly supportive” of him doing I’m A Celeb and, while he’ll miss them both, it was too good an opportunity to pass up. It marks another new chapter for Danny as he leaves the soap after playing Aaron Dingle on and off for 13 years.
Here, the 30-year-old star tells us he’s hoping that his fans will see a more fun side to him, why he’ll be the shoulder to cry on for the rest of the group and how he confided in best mate Adam Thomas about signing up for the show…
