The premiere of Ridley Scott’s hotly anticipated House Of Gucci felt like a return to the glamorous pre-pandemic days. And star of the show Lady Gaga was a vision in purple on the red carpet at London’s Odeon Leicester Square.
The film follows the marriage and subsequent divorce of Maurizio Gucci and Patrizia Reggiani, who is played by Gaga. The Gucci founder’s ex-wife was convicted in 1998 of hiring a hitman to kill him.
Director Ridley Scott sent Gaga the script in 2018, shortly after her Hollywood debut in A Star Is Born, and in an interview prior to the premiere last week, she opened up about how she prepared for the role.
