Irish model-turned-TV star Vogue Williams has taken to motherhood like a duck to water. After saying “I do” to former Made In Chelsea favourite Spencer Matthews, 32, in 2018, the couple are now parents to their adorable son, Theodore, two, and nine-month-old daughter, Gigi.
And when we give Vogue, 35, a call to catch-up about family life, it’s clear to see she’s savouring every moment as a parent. “I love everything about being a mum,” she beams. “You have your days where you think, ‘God, I’m not doing a good job this week,’ – but that’s completely natural.”
As well as being a mum, Vogue is a host on Heart radio and has her very own podcast with Spencer called Spencer & Vogue, which keeps listeners up to date with their busy lives.
Here, Vogue lifts the lid on juggling two children with work, expanding her brood and overcoming abuse from trolls...
Hey Vogue! What is the best thing about being a mum?
Everything. I love being a mum. At the moment, watching Theodore and Gigi play is just my favourite thing in the world. It’s so cute. He’s so gentle with her. Obviously, he wasn’t at the start, but it’s Gigi we have to look after because she scratches his face, but he’s really persistent. Walking through the door and seeing their excited faces is so wonderful. I want to spend as much time as I can with them. I’ve always wanted to be a mum – I was very into dolls when I was younger, and now I’ve got my very own real-life dolls.
‘There’s nobody I’d rather spend my time with than Spencer – we’re best pals’
What would you say is the hardest thing about being a parent?
