Marnie Simpson is eager to lose weight ahead of her wedding to Casey Johnson after going up two dress sizes during lockdown, a source told new.

“Marnie, like so many of us, put on weight during the lockdown. She was a size 8 but she’s now a size 12,” revealed the source. “She could feel the weight creep on and she notices it a lot when she looks in the mirror.

“She recently did 10 weeks of filming for Geordie OGs and that, combined with looking after her son Rox, meant she grabbed food on the go, which wasn’t always the healthiest option. She’s not beating herself up at all, she knows she’s only human. But she wants to look her best on her wedding day, like all brides.”
